The final concert #Matrioska, scheduled for Sunday at 6:30 pm, will close the edition in style. One of the most iconic elements of Russian popular culture, the Matryoshka is considered the ultimate souvenir and symbol of that country. Like a set of dolls of variable size, each of which can be inserted in the immediately larger one, so our musicians will alternate in various types of formations, from the Mozart quintet in C minor to the double trio of Mischa Käser, to then end all together with the sextet for strings Souvenir de Florence by Piotr Tchaikowsky, a real musical monument, so named because the composer had sketched one of the main themes of the sextet during a visit to Florence, where he had composed the opera La dama di piche .
