PAGANINI: The Mystery Room

"PAGANINI: The Mystery Room" is a dynamic and interactive project inspired by the concept of escape rooms, designed to explore the man behind the legend, Niccolò Paganini. Participants will engage in a "Sherlock Holmes" style investigation, progressing through various stages to uncover mysteries surrounding Paganini's legend, culminating in a solo violin performance.

​A passionate fan of Paganini since childhood, Irene Abrigo dedicated her thesis at the University of Turin's DAMS to the biographical research of the famous Genoese violinist. Based on letters and historical documents, this one-hour game was created in 2017 in Lausanne in French as a collaboration between POURQUOIPAS and the Pully Sound Festival.

Today, it is presented in an exclusive world premiere in Italian and English at the Lucignano Music Festival.
