This fascinating musical journey ranging from the 18th to the 20th century begins with Sonata No. 1 in D minor by Joseph Gibbs, a little-known but surprisingly talented English composer who offers us a work of remarkable originality and variety. It continues with the Sonata in B minor by Amanda Maier-Röntgen, a brilliant Swedish violinist whose work influenced even the great Brahms. Her sonata, revived years ago by Elmira Darvarova concertmaster of the New York Metropolitan, and rarely performed in Italy, offers us a unique intense emotional experience. To conclude, our artists will take us to the enchanted world of Pablo de Sarasate and Claude Debussy. Sarasate with his virtuosic violin skills and Debussy with his evocative "Claire de Lune" will transport us to unique and fascinating sound worlds. A concert that will enchant and excite, combining tradition and innovation in an unforgettable experience.
